Alternate Works
2007-2015
The above images are a collection of drawings, paintings, observational sketches, and hand built works I have created over the past several years. Many of these pieces served as a jumping off point for greater exploration into alternate mediums and techniques, while others served as an artistic solution to a creative problem.
I often look back at these creative experiences thinking about all the ways my teachers helped me to grow in my creative abilities. I remember the impact they had on me as a young artist and how each experience with a new medium, technique, or process opened up my world to endless possibilities and excitement. The goal I set for my own teaching is to have the same impact I once experienced. To act as a guide for my students as they travel on their own artistic journeys.
